I took figure skating lessons for maybe 1-2 years until I was 8, then stopped for roughly 3 years when I moved. I took it back up when I was 12 but had to start back at the beginning level and work my way up, but I never made it past the level I was at when I was 8, which was right before you learn how to do decent jumps. I gave up lessons at 14.Now, I would really love to get back at it. I can somewhat do the bunny hop, and I remember starting to learn the waltz jump.I definitely want to practice those again, but what would be the best way to teach myself the most basic jumps so I can look like a somewhat decent figure skater? Would I be better off taking lessons again?
