Tips or tricks for better back edges and crossovers?

This will be my third week since being introduced to back crossovers and I am finding I can’t pick them up as fast as I did forward crossovers. With forward crossovers I’m now just working on being able to start them off well from a slower start. For back crossovers I can’t seem to have my weight be over my skating foot consistently and on the outside edge, the second push is weak too, I can’t seem to get into the ice enough for that. Also, I tend to ride on the front of my blade no matter how much bend I have in my ankles and knees. I just surpassed my first month of figure skating a couple days ago and really want my crossovers down well as I personally feel I can’t move on to bigger things until the foundations of skating are done well.
